The Sat Radio adapter on several occasions has "locked up"; that is, it will not display the channels and it thinks you have not subscribed to Sirius. But it is playing the last channel selected. Changing from AM/FM and back to Sat does not help. Even starting and restarting the engine doesn't always help. The version is NAVTV 09/0625. There is an exclamation point next to the the sat radio in the version list. This happens very intermittently. It can not happen for weeks and then happen twice in the same day. Any suggestions.
THANKS!

I have the update installed and still have the same issues as before with the reset issue. I did notice how to get to constantly go into reset mode. If you hold your foot on the brake, with the car in drive and the turn signel on it will constantly go into reset mode.

I have a 2010 Dodge Dakota with RER Nav unit- have had the same problem with instrument panel warning lights all coming on at random. Had problems with 1.220, 2.043, 2.045 MyGig updates - am using latest NAV-TV low speed bus update available. Have had the problem for a good six months now. If I remove the All-Gig, no problems with idiot lights. The low speed bus version of the all-gig flash update hasn't been updated for a long time, it seems only the high speed bus version gets updated periodically.

Hi Tony,

Looks like that version 10-24-08 worked - I now have my ext Controls back.  I believe we upgraded it a while ago to address slow song loading process and playing a fraction of the newly selected song, then repeats it again, then plays the full song.

Do you suggest that we stay at this version or try re-upgrading back to 9-10-09 release?

The iPod also isn't being charging - it's a iPod Touch (gen2).  Do I need an additional adapter to charge it?  I believe the OPi charged my older iPod /Video (gen5) model.  Am using the same harness that was initially installed.  I looked around on the portal but didn't see any model number / price for the adapter.  I would appreciate if you could pass along the details.

Thanks,
Dean

Dean,

I have one more "experiment" for you.

Can you try to load the October 24, 2008 software and see what that does?

Also, are you making sure that when you turn on your radio, that the iPod is disconnected, and that you're only connecting it after the radio is past the boot screen?

Thanks,

Tony Y.

I believe it was earlier this year, around mid-Feb, where both OPi and Tooki modules had thier software updated.

It looks like that I mis-typed the results for one of the sequences - should have wrote instead "The other results in Load CD 6 then switches to Load CD 1".  Regardless of results of either attempt, Controls for the OPi remain inaccessable but Audio continues to play through the PCM.

[Edited]

Just for kicks, tried reloading Sept 10-09 image.  Noticed that I couldn't get the "Radio Control" to lock in, always stayed in "Manual Control" unless I disconnected the iPod first.  So now it's back into RC mode.  Also, if I choose "Track List" the screen fills with "No iPod".

Am I missing something -- not doing something right?

Regards,
Dean

Hi Dean,

Do you remember when it was worked on last and what was done (as far as you know)?

Thanks,

Tony Y.

Hi Tony,

Yes, you are correct about its age.  Actually I've had a few different units since my initial purchase back in May'08.  The Dealer replaced it a couple of times due to variety of issues and the unit that I have now does have an USB interface -- if that is any distinguishing mark?

It appears that I get two different results after trying applying the sequences.  One results in displaying info such as the unit image version, manual mode, etc., and ends up with “No iPod”.  The other results in Play 6 then Play 1 and stays at Play 1.

Dean,

You've had this iPod module for quite a while, haven't you?

I suspect that it's a pre-2009 module, so it would need a hardware update.  Has it ever been updated?

Also, try this after the module is plugged in and you see "no iPod":
Go to the Audio screen, then:
  1) Hold "6" (about 3 seconds)
  2) Press "3"
  3) Press "2"
  4) Hold "1" (about 3 seconds)

Thanks,

Tony Y.
