Have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500

Caravan has a camera fitted - want to make vision appear on 8" screen - local installer recommends NTV-KIT457

It was installed and when caravan connected to chevy it worked - but the next day the chevy reverse camera died

Installer says his wok fine an just a coincidence - new camera ordered

Am nervous - hard to believe a 15 month old camera dies 24 hours after "interface" unit fitted

A couple of simple questions

1 - why did it die?
2 - will the new chevy camera likely to suffer a similar fate?
