MOST HUR 997 KIT-210

this link will take you to our HUR997 page, with the software files to download at the bottom.

You'll need a windows-PC. If you have Windows XP, you just need to download the first (from the left) 'files' button, this will include the WIN XP driver. Install that all the way through first, before attempting to use the USB-Updater.

If you have WIN 7 or up, you'll need to download the second 'files' button, this has the WIN 7 driver in it.

All will have to be unzipped before using.

Try flashing the HUR via the USB cable with either file located in the 'New Board' folder.

Before I flash this unit I want to make sure my hardware is correct. The board is marked USBMOSTIR U:3 06/04/2008 S/N: 105101 P:02/17/2014:1

Is this the "new board"?

You need to use the: 997/09 and Up/New board/Kenwood file.

Brendon and Tony….. Re-flashing the HUR worked! I was able to verify that the amplifier turned on and played sound through the speakers. Just a matter of installation now. Thanks for your help!
